Questions
Why can't it record all three cameras in 4K?
The iPhone itself won't. Each camera format costs part of a fixed hardware budget, and three 4K streams go over it. Interrotron starts at 4K and steps down until all three fit: on iPhone 17 Pro, 4K on the wide camera and 1080p on the telephoto and front. Switch one camera off in Setup and the other two can both record 4K.
The cameras froze when I put my AirPods in.
iOS pauses the cameras while its AirPods card is on screen. Tap the card's ×. The cameras come back, and Interrotron adds the AirPods microphone to the recording (if Motion & Fitness is allowed; otherwise reopen Interrotron with the AirPods in).
My AirPods keep switching to Transparency when I talk.
That's Conversation Awareness. Turn it off in Settings › [your AirPods].
Which AirPod is the microphone?
iOS decides, and apps can't see or change it. Set it yourself in Settings › [your AirPods] › Microphone: Always Left AirPod or Always Right AirPod. See Interviews.
The subject hears their own voice.
The AirPods mic is routed to the subject's own AirPod. Route it to the videographer's AirPod instead. If Mono Audio is on (Settings › Accessibility › Audio & Visual), or Interrotron says the AirPods link is mono, every route reaches both AirPods; turn Mono Audio off.
Where are my recordings?
In the app's Takes list, one folder per take. Share them from there, or copy them with Finder file sharing on a Mac. See Privacy.
